Location: Waxhaw, NC and relocation required to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.

Job Duties

  • Perform software quality assurance analysis and test automation for client/server and web-based applications.
  • Conduct API testing and automation using Postman.
  • Participate in Agile/SCRUM-based SDLC activities including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure software quality across all development phases.
  • Contribute to building and maintaining a scalable test automation framework.
  • Write and manage test plans, test cases, and test data for comprehensive coverage.
  • Track and manage defects through bug tracking tools and support resolution with development teams.
  • Ensure thorough test coverage within the Test Pyramid model (unit, integration, user interface).
  • Support continuous improvement by identifying QA process enhancements.
  • Identify and script regression test cases for automation and schedule all the automation test cases using Jenkins.
  • Involved in API automation testing using Rest Assured along with Postman.
  • Involved in functional testing, system testing, and regression testing.
  • Use of Selenium, Cucumber, Eclipse, Jenkins, SQL, GitHub, Maven, Postman, JIRA, and SQL Server.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation including Automation Tester, Quality Specialist, Test Consultant, or related experience.
  • Position requires 3 years of experience with Selenium, Jenkins, GitHub, and Agile. 40hrs/week.
